WHAT’S JAKCOM R3 SMART RING?
The Jakcom R3 is a passive NFC smart ring developed by Chinese wearable electronics manufacturer Jakcom. The NFC smart ring has three NFC tags — a regular NFC module, M1, and ID — and each has its own function.
The Jakcom R3 is mainly used for contactless access to entry points and remote access to compatible devices. It can also be used to store and share information through its mobile app.
As a passive smart ring, it does not require charging at all. It functions all the time, so you can wear and use it 24/7 without worrying about losing battery life. The ring has an IP68 rating, which means it’s dust and waterproof.
SMART KEY
The Jakcom R3 can be used as a smart key card, enabling contactless access to homes, office buildings, parking lots, elevators, and membership spaces. You can also customize the ring and make it an alternative travel pass at compatible points of entry.
REMOTE CONTROL
Its NFC tag also allows users to get quick access to the user’s mobile device, enabling them to lock and unlock the device, start an app, adjust the screen brightness, control sound levels, and more. All these functionalities are possible with just a simple touch.
INFORMATION SHARING/EXCHANGE
In most applications, the Jakcom R3 enables you to store and share information, including business contact details, website links, messages, and images through its mobile app for iOS and Android. It’s the first NFC smart ring capable of sharing images and text information
HEALTH MODULE
One thing that’s unique to the Jakcom R3 and its other smart rings is the health module. The ring is made up of far-infrared (FIR) energy stone, germanium grain, and volcanic mineral magnet — all designed to improve the user’s human health and well-being.
