Health technology company Amazfit known for its range of smartwatches has officially announced the Helio Ring, a smart ring designed for sleep and recovery tracking. Unveiled in January at the CES 2024 in Las Vegas, the Helio Ring is touted to be every athlete’s best health companion for optimal performance. From the specs and features to pricing and release date, here’s everything you need to know about the Helio Ring:
Amazfit Helio Ring Features and Specs
The Amazfit Helio Ring is engineered to track sleep and track your activities. In the sleep tracking department, Helio Ring has customized sleep sounds that smartly adjust according to your body’s response. You also have the option to activate relaxation sounds, whether you are meditating, about to sleep, doing yoga, or relaxing.
When it comes to fitness tracking, you can turn on the workout mode from the Zepp app while working out to track your performance in detail. It records important metrics like VO2 max, training load, and training effect to get a bigger picture of your performance and recovery. If you are training for a marathon, the Zepp app can analyze your historical data and generate race predictions whether it’s half marathon or full marathon.

Helio Ring uses an electrodermal activity sensor to measure your skin and sweat responses. This also helps you get a grasp of the levels of stress you are going through. And of course, the smart ring also has sensors to monitor your heart rate and blood oxygen.
If you subscribe to Zepp Fitness Membership, you get access to Amazfit’s Zepp Wellness Coach which provides you with a detailed weekly and monthly sleep report with sleep health assessments and insights. Its AI chatbot can answer your wellness questions too much like your personal trainer.
The Zepp app is compatible with other fitness apps like Google Fit, Apple Health, Strava, Adidas Running, Komoot, and Relive to help you sync your data.

In terms of design, the Helio Ring is made of durable, hypoallergenic titanium alloy and weighs 3.8 to 4 grams, depending on the size. It’s very slim measuring 2.6 millimeters only.
The battery life has yet to be revealed. When it comes to water protection, the Helio Ring can be used up to 10 ATM or water pressure equivalent to 100 meters. Therefore, you can bring it in the water, shower, ice bath, hot tub, or sauna. At press time, the Amazfit Helio Ring is waiting to be certified to ingress protection standards.

Amazfit Release Date and Pricing
Helio Ring will be available in sizes 10 to 12. Each ring can be custom engraved with a date or motivational phrase you want. Its price will be revealed as it becomes available in March 2024.
